WhAt a MoNth!!!

I have done a lot of things recently. I moved. Gael was sick. Emili had her spring concert, had to do an oral presentation with a diorama and entered Quad Graphics annual poster contest. We went up to Wisconsin Dells and had a great time. We went to my cousin Ashley's wedding. I am still not all the way unpacked and it is a month later... Then next week I am closing up shop (getting my tubes tied)! This weekend we are off to the Dells again for my Aunt's 50th birthday!! Gone all weekend again. Eventually I will get unpacked!!! Looking forward to the month of June with very little planned and the opening of the Lomira Pool. Emili is going to be taking swim lessons at daycare this year, but is ready to go to the Lomira Pool after I get done with work. We live pretty close to the pool now, so it is in walking distance now. Lots of fun to be had in June. Hasta luego!!

My apologies for not blogging lately, but I have been really busy. We are moving next week and between working full time and the kids, it is hard to find time to blog. The kids are getting bigger and Emili seems to be adjusting well to being a big sister. Gael is adjusting well to daycare and his surroundings. We are moving to a smaller place here in Lomira, close to the pool. Emili's spring concert is on the 15th of this month and she is looking forward to it. The Easter bunny was good to both kids. Emili got a big basket of sugar free candy and toys. We went to Wisconsin Dells for Easter weekend and had a good time. Last weekend we went to Milwaukee to visit my girlfriends and we went to my brother, Clay's house too to celebrate his birthday. Gael has his 4month checkup tomorrow. Hard to believe 4 months have gone by.

Finding time to blog seems to be getting harder and harder lately. So here goes. This is what is going on with us lately. I have returned to work and have been back now for 2 weeks. It is like I never left. Work is work I guess. If not they would call it have fun time right? I do appreciate the fact that I have a very flexible job and can see my kids durning the day. We have established a routine for the most part and finding time to myself seems to be a challenge lately. Gael and Emili are adjusting well.

Emili is off this week for spring break and having lots of fun. She is back with my mom on Mondays after school and seems to be enjoying herself. I think Grandma missed her as well! They have been doing lots of fun crafty crap that I hate doing and Emili isn't afraid of missing every second with Gael anymore. She actually wanted to stay overnight at her place the other night. She is struggling right now with pre-diabetes and we are going to see a specialist at CHOW. She is also on a very strict diabetic diet... NO CARBS... since we are eating different now, I have lost 3 pounds already. She is slimming down as well. She has a friend over tonight and they are playing and plan on staying up LATE... we will see.

Gael is adjusting well to daycare. He is on a schedule and eats only twice a day at daycare. I am fortunate enough to be able to go and nurse him when he is hungry. It works out really nice. Emili gets to visit him during the day as well. Here are some pics of them. Well gotta get going someone is waking up again......

Getting bigger!!! Gael ready for fun....

Emili tired and ready for bed after a long day. Look how big she is getting!!! She is almost as tall as me now!

I have been trying to get the most of my last couple of days left a maternity leave. I have to go back the end of March and we are almost all the way through. I have been trying to catch up with old friends and spend some time with my loved ones, while enjoying my little ones.

This last weekend Emili was sick yet once again!!! So it was a lot of staying at home. Lots of stuff going on this week. I looked at a couple of apartments in Lomira and found some things and was approved for one, but not sure yet...still going to keep my options open. I have to be out of my apartment by the 15th of May. Looking for volunteers to help move if anyone wants to lend a hand it would be greatly appreciated. Today was off to Milwaukee to get my new kitchen table, check it out. I also got to spend some time with my friend Lisa and her little one Marcos. Emili and her Uncle Ricky had lots of fun last night at the Pizza Ranch playing games. It has been a very fun filled enjoyable week. I am waiting for reality to bite me ..... it already is starting to nibble a little....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

Last night Emili and I had fun at the Pizza Ranch in Waupun..a pretty happening place. It is a small town version of Chucky Cheese.
