So today is Friday and also pajama day at Quad Care. Emili was so excited to get up and put clean "jam jam's" on today. Auntie bought her some hot pink slippers with a jewel on each of them and she loves them.



It was a good day because I took a half a day of vacation. I had to go to the doctor for my two week post op check. I can't believe that it has been two weeks since my surgery. I am finally starting to feel better. I got a lovely photo of my ever photogenic ovaries and uterus. I was thinking about hanging that on my fridge...maybe that would help curve my appetite. Hopefully, I won't need any more operations in the near future. We will c what will happen. I got to see my friend today who is so funny. Her husband called her to find out what movies were playing (while she was giving me a manicure) and she was reading off the names of the movies and there was a movie called Balls of Fury. Well, for anyone that knows my friend, knows that she has a very heavy accent, so I was listening to how she was pronouncing the words... then she says "Balls of Furry"....hahahaha.... We all had a good laugh.

After the doctors appointment, we stopped at my moms house and Emili and my Aunt Mary decided to go the Mayville Football Game to c Ghen (or Glen) Takahashi, in the starting lineup. My mother and I stayed back at her house and listened 2 the game. Check out Emmi J! Aunt Mary has outdone herself yet once again. What a beautiful day today. Emili had a little bit of freedom today. She woke up with all intentions of going to daycare with me. Auntie, on the other hand, had some plans 2 spoil her. I left her at home with Auntie and Auntie took her "school shopping". Emili is now ready to make her big debut at Theresa Elementary School on Sept 4. THANK YOU AUNTIE!! She will be decked out in her new "High School Musical" gear...we especially like the "I LOVE ZAC EFRON" backpack. For anyone that doesn't know about High School Musical, it is like GREASE....MMM. Zac Efron is plays a character like John Travolta in GREASE. John Trovolta was a hottie then...mmmm.....

Auntie also booked Emili's birthday party for Sept 8th at Chucky Cheez in Brookfield. (Emili is still freaked out of Chucky the mouse)... She is so terrified of him that she shakes. She loves the place, but hopefully now she is over her "mouse in a costume" phobia. She can take along 6 of her friends, so I am assuming that all her friends from the neighborhood will be going.

So when I came home on lunch today to check on Emili and Megan, I found Megan and Miguel in her bedroom .....HANGING CURTAINS...Emili was outside playing with the kids from the neighborhood. Emili was really happy to see her daddy. Emili got her a Chicken Pox booster today. Well not a lot new today.

HOT tAmALe

Hot tamales for two hot tamales. My friend Fernie text messaged me this morning to let me know that his mother was making tamales and invited me over for dinner. Knowing this of course I had to call my mother who is a BIG fan of tamales. My friends mother made 2 dozen 4 my mom to freeze and eat later. Now that I am living close I was able to go and hand deliver the goods to my mom.

My friends mother (Panchita) hahaha, will unfortunately be going back 2 Texas now that canning factory season is coming to an end and boy will she (and her cooking) b missed. This summer has consisted of Chiles Rellenos, Gorditas and many other mexican dishes.

Speaking of Mexicans, today I had to translate 4 a little 8 year old girl and kids say the darnest things sometimes. I had to interpret for this little girl. A dentist that I work with is from Indian and dark skinned and has a cute accent. The little girl said (in Spanish) via translation "Mr. u talk really funny...are you Chinese"... hahahaha. Well, when I went to school for interpretation that is how they taught us to interpret...word for word... It was kind of hard through the chuckling. Everyone had a good laugh.

Emili made several things at daycare today including, a close pin thinger to hold her stuffed animals. Grandma says that she smells purple today... ya she is weird. I think it might b because she has a purple dress on today. Auntie is going to Walmart tonight ( or in the early am) i think around 3 am to buy school supplies for Emili. I went last week and bought all the wrong supplies. I bought the supplies for the Lomira school district and not the Theresa school. Auntie is all about Hanna Montana and High School Musical these dates. She is all into the Disney Channel! Lets c what she will get. Well that is all 4 today. Hasta manana from 2 hot Tamales.

New 2 this

Well, I am new to this and no Mom I am not copying you. I just figured that Emili might want to have something 2 look back on when she is grown on the great adventures of her life...so here goes. My blog is going to be more like a diary on our daily events (4 anyone that really gives a flying..) well u get the pic. While I don't think that I will ever be able 2 top "The adventures Emili has with Grandma". I figure that well, I can at least write about my boring (might as well be non-existent life) on a daily basis.

Well today was a normal day up early and off 2 work. Emili went to Quad Care all day and made friendship bracelets and stick puppets. Emili's friend came over after work and they played outside a little and on Webkinz. Emili is all taken up with her new virtual pets. fyi..snow and fluffy are very real and actually mom found herself playing around with them as well.

I have 2 say that I am quite disappointed with the Lomira School District. I called 2day to find out if I was able to meet Emili's teacher or take a tour of Theresa Elementary and they made me out 2 b a phsyco when I called. God forbid i would want 2 meet the person (s) that will b caring 4 my child 4 the next 8 months or c where she is going 2 b on a daily basis. Well, according to them, the meeting with them the first day of school should suffice. I beg 2 differ (call me overprotective).

School is starting on Sept 4 and Emili is excited yet nervous about it. This is something that i feel is really weird. Most everyone that knows me, knows that I have a twin sister named Megan. Well today was very freaky. I opened up the mailbox today to find a reminder in the mail for Megan's dental appointment on the 5 of September at 8 am. That was not the wierd part. The wierd thing is that I also have a scheduled dental appointment (different location) at the same time and on the same date!!!! That is what a I call a wierd...what is up with that>>>.>>>>??? When Megan and I were living apart (for a whole year and a half) after 27 years together we had boughten the SAME BOOK...only my version was in spanish...ya i know that i am a wierdo...she accepts me that way..")
